We want your hosting experience to be fun and enjoyable, and that starts with choosing the right student for your family.  We are happy to suggest students that share your hobbies, interests, or faith--or you can visit Meet Our Students to browse student profiles, read their letters, and find one that matches your family.

Here's how hosting works in a nutshell:

• The exchange student lives as a member of your family (not a guest or boarder), participates in family life, and attends the local high school
• Students come with medical insurance and spending money to cover personal expenses like school fees, phone, clothing, etc.
• Host families provide room & board and loving parental guidance (and are eligible for a tax deduction)
• A Local Coordinator will provide support and assistance to you and your student throughout the hosting experience
• YOU select the student you want to host.  We will gladly help you find a student, or you can visit Meet Our Students to browse or search for students by country, age, gender, religion, or interests.
• With over 30 years of experience, ICES will help provide the experience you want by providing outstanding support to you and your exchange student.
